i love your art and the way you drawing :)
i wanna ask
are you sketching on tablet or maybe on "normal" paper and then skanning ?
for example here: http://prodigybombay.deviantart.com/art/Sketch-Triage-140158198
i'd really like to know :)
Thank you! To respond to your question, I do both. In the sketch example you provided, the top two sketches were done on paper and scanned (you can see some of the paper texture in the sketch). The sketch on the bottom was done in Photoshop, so it was sketched using my tablet. :) I use a Wacom Intuos 4, 6x8” tablet.
This is what I’d love to do with my friends if we all had money and could somehow get five vacation days to spend in LA. (Sadly, I only get ten a year, so spending five in one go is a lot!) Presumably around AX which is why I am not listing anything in Japantown - because we always go there during…
I’m a really big fan of your artwork, it’s inspired me so much, when iv’e had art blocks and so on, and its made me change my mind about, well, i drew more anime style things, and it got boring and repetitive, but i love how you can do that but make them semi-realistic and things.. keep up the good work. :3 <3
I’m super excited to watch James Franco (+ Anne Hathaway) host the Oscars tonight! I still remember seeing him in front of the Dodge Building and bumping into him as he was leaving Butler while he was getting his MFA at school. I’m not a stalker, but it’s still pretty awesome to see someone who’s as cool and accomplished as Franco go to the same school as me. Hope he gets the Oscar for best actor, but it will probably go to Colin Firth.
Speaking of school, I haven’t really be back, bar one instance, since graduating. I miss campus though (not to mention college life), I should try visiting more often.
